Shipping

Once an order is received, we begin making it immediately, and aim for shipment within 1–3 working days. You can contact us any time during that period for an update.

Lifetime warranty

Every piece is covered by an AHW Lifetime Warranty — a guarantee against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser's lifetime. We handcraft everything in-house to stand the test of time.

This doesn't cover lost items, or normal wear like knocks, scratches, or Sterling Silver tarnish (see Care, below). To start a claim, email ask@ahwstudio.com with your name and order number.

Jewellery, particularly chains, is subject to everyday wear. Breakage, stretching, scratching or damage caused by catching, pulling, impact or normal use is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered for free replacement or refund. All claims require photo evidence before assessment.

Exchanges & returns

We accept exchanges for change-of-mind on an item of equal value, within 7 days of arrival. Because every piece is made to order, we don't offer refunds for change-of-mind, damage, or loss — return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Care instructions

AHW jewellery has a rugged, vintage aesthetic, so don't worry if a piece ages slightly. To keep it looking its best, avoid water — showering, swimming, washing up — unless a piece is specified waterproof.

Sterling Silver tarnishes naturally over time from humidity, chlorine, and even perfume — that's not a sign of poor quality. A silver polishing cloth and some elbow grease will bring it back.

Purposefully not! We aim to recycle - utilising only obsolete, non-working timepieces that are beyond repair. This results in a unique, organic process of drawing from the past and remaking it for the future. We would never break a watch, to make it!
